The CCM Experiment: April 9

Feeling: Stressed in morning/early afternoon, relaxed late afternoon, distraught in the evening (found out a friend has a potentially life-threatening brain tumor)

Doing: Housekeeping work at the nursing home, reading at the park, church

Listened to: Under The Radar (Christian music podcast- super great. I highly recommend it!), swing jazz covers of pop songs.

Lyric that stood out the most to me:

"Fear not the terror that comes at night
Nor flaming arrows by morning light
His truth is always our sword and shield
Against His power, all foes must yield"

- Lyrics by R.C. Sproul, music by Jeff Lippencott

I love the way this portion of the song is a display of how we should take comfort in God's power. Really though, to appreciate this to it's fullest extent, you need to see the video of it performed below. This was shown at church tonight.
